Spain!
We picked up Nulla in Zeebrugge, Belgium, on Jan 17, 2019, and drove through France to the southern coast of Spain. We loved driving south along the Mediterranean Sea to Morocco, enjoying all that is good along the way—people, food, wine, music, art, and culture! We send our thanks to the peoples of Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Cadiz, Jerez de la Fronteras, and Tarifa!
We Loved Our 45 days in Spain!

Our apartment was in the bohemian neighborhood of "Lavapiés" (wash your feet) and a short walk to the "La Latina" neighborhood. We had a good feel for both neighborhoods. We arrived during the Three Kings holiday, January 5th, and 90% of the businesses were closed but the streets were full of life!

Friday, Jan 4, 2019, we packed and closed our apartment in Barrio Gràcia, in Barcelona. We loved this neighborhood! But it was time to move to our next adventure! From "Barrio Gràcia" we drove three hours to Zaragoza and spent the night in this wonderful city.

Friday, January 4, 2019, we rented a car in Barcelona and started our drive to Madrid. We miss Nulla (our moving home) but we are making our way to Zeebrugge, Belgium to meet her on January 17, 2019.

This morning Friday, Jan 4, we are picking up our rental car and driving to Madrid. We have been in Barrio Gràcia about a month. It is always hard to leave a place that you are just beginning to love and friends that you are just getting to know. We want to thank them! We have learned so much. Barrio Gràcia is an inspiration but the next inspiration awaits us in Madrid. On this video we are featuring musicians we spent time with and we hope will become good friends in the future, no matter the distance. Ceuta, Spain
June 2019, we went to Ceuta, Spain, to extend our visas for Morocco. Our idea was to cross the border into Ceuta, get our passports stamped, and return to Morocco on the same day. Many people do it. We ended up spending 4-days in Ceuta doing repairs on Nulla. We ❤️ Ceuta. It’s cafes, bocadillos, tapas, vinos, siestas in the afternoon, sunset walks on the beach, and tapas and vino again at night. ❤️ We are now on the road driving back to Essouira, Morocco, for the Gnaoua Music Festival. “Biggest Jam session on the planet! 😎
